The EFL have deducted 2 points from Sheffield Utd should they get get relegated to the Championship. As that seem highly likely the Blades will start next season in the Championship on -2.
I wish it was -2 points of Sheffield Wednesday instead

Liam Rosenior sacked by Hull. Bit harsh I think. A decent side. Obviously the owners think they should have made the play-offs. I get a bit nervous now, that clubs may look our way for their replacement...
Stupid decision He was a good manager and hull personally I think are a bit harsh Played some good football and players respected him massively He only signed a 3 year deal in December by all accounts

After being allowed to make 7 signings in January to get Hull into the Premiership, Rosenior has paid for his failure to achieve that goal. Making so many signings in January can disrupt a teams morale and when you consider Hull were in 5th and 4 points clear of the team in 6th the fact they didn't subsequently even get into the play offs must have sealed his fate.
In his last 13 games he managed to get just 3 wins and of course the best of them just happened to be against us.
It probably didn't help that in their 2023 accounts Hull showed a net Debt of c.£38m although that seems quite decent when you compare it to the £87m figure that we declared in our accounts.
Let’s not shout too loud we have a good little manager at our gaff then He’s 4th favourite at 6-1 for the job right now Sheff Wednesday manager 3rd favourite just behind him Just shows what great job both of them done

The rumour is that Hull are after a chap called Tim Walter who was sacked as Hamburg manager in February when they were 4th in the German 2nd Division.
The play offs being on Sunday afternoon is awful. Terrible games, terrible atmospheres.
Get the games back in the evenings.
What are Sky thinking?
I see your point NWH, but what about fans getting back home after an evening fixture? Wembley is also a real pig of a venue for the final: poor if you drive and poor if you use train or coach. Sadly the fans will always be an afterthought...
