Hi all, will complete a right up about the forum and have it posted by tomorrow morning if that’s okay with everyone. Just want to re-watch the video to make sure my notes align with what was said. Pleasant evening in the end, thanks for allowing me to go and represent the group. Did get some questions in towards the end which Clive has suggested could ‘stir a hornets nest’ so make of that what you will
I attended last night as won a seat via the season ticket ballot. It was a fairly positive evening I thought and Amit and Reuben both spoke well about their passion for QPR and their motivation as owners.
I asked a question about where did Gareth realistically see us finishing this season. He has clearly told the players to aim high which is positive and I genuinely think apart from the Watford game we’ve been a bit unlucky with some of the results so here’s hoping for a top half finish to then build for playoffs next season maybe 🤞
Cannot argue with anything you have said moldyhoop! We have developed a style of play based upon physicality and attacking when in possession, but we have indeed been unlucky in games (and referee).

Sounds like we are staying at Loftus Road for the long term.
From years of saying we have to leave to become sustainable they now seem to just be looking how they can use the current site more than 23 match days a year. Are they just going to overhaul or expand hospitality areas and use them in the week?
I'm not sure this is a good idea to abandon the idea of a new stadium. They weren't pressed on it but we do need a new stadium. The leg room stops people coming back. The concourses are too small. The catering guy acknowledged they can't do much else because there is no space here. They can't even fix the wiring on the speaker system.
The stadium may get used more if they make some changes, but that doesn't improve it on a match day.
He said they aren't looking at expansion because we don't fill this stadium but would we fill some more seats if the stadium was better and offered morento fans?
I watched online and in the past I've always been critical of the board's smoke and mirrors approach. After last night's forum however, I thought their responses to the fans questions were as open and honest as they probably could be.
There were lots of questions and the majority were positive, some of the replies were,
New stadium - it seems that it's more likely that Loftus Road will be renovated.
Injury Issues - the manager said that our only injury is Jimmy Dunne. Ainsworth also advised that Taylor Richards is working on his fitness.
The new Performance Director-brought in to help avoid the injuries our players have been getting over the last couple of seasons. He made the point that he's been appointed to improve the players Fitness, Health and Robustness. He also responded to a question about some of our players looking knackered late in the game that science has proved its impossible for players to reach peak fitness in 6 weeks.
Pitch replacement- Lee Hoos suggested that because the whole pitch had to be dug up and replaced rather than just the top surface it could only happen when the equipment was available.
Tannoy problems- apparently it's a wiring issue that will cost hundreds of thousands to fix so the club are looking at other options.
New training complex- will allow he club to generate more income and sponsership. Lee Hoos mentioned both Paddy Power and the Aussie National team being associated with the new facilities.
Tony Fernandes- Amit informed the forum that TFs shares in the club have now been bought by Ruben, Reilly and himself.
These are just some of the points discussed and if you want to listen to the full 2 hours plus I believe it's now available on YouTube.
The big takeaway for me last night was that Richard Reilly does exist. He is a real person.
Did you get to speak to him or did he stay hidden at the back of the room?
I have to say that watching online everyone seemed very positive and their was a feeling of optimism. It seemed that Amit may have expected the fans to be a bit more upset but appreciated the mainly constructive questions.

New stadium - it seems that it's more likely that Loftus Road will be renovated. Fine if we have to for now, but each year we delay moving there will be less and less suitable sites available. That means the club is even more likely to move to an Outer London borough.
Injury Issues - the manager said that our only injury is Jimmy Dunne. Ainsworth also advised that Taylor Richards is working on his fitness. I am not convinced he is really there. I think it is Lee Hoos getting extra money. Ask yourself: have you ever seen Taylor Richards and Lee Hoos together....? See!

That's a long way for the Aussies to travel to train! I wonder how that will work? European centre for internationals in the Northern Hemisphere perhaps?

The elusive Taylor Richards hard at work on his fitness

In respect of Australia I think they have just hired some of the facilities for training prior to their match against England on October 13. I'd imagine that the club will be looking to do similar when other countries or foreign clubs are playing in London to make some extra income.

They’re also playing New Zealand in a game at an as yet unspecified London ground (Brentford or Fulham).
