Sheffield Wednesday Vs QPR... can QPR escape the bottom 3?

Well it was disappointing being unable to break down a 10-man team but here we go again - against another side 'struggling'.

Any thoughts on your ideal Starting XI after last night?

Yeah I am disappointed because we always want to win games of football, but we need perspective. A few weeks ago we all truly believed we were down. League 1 seemed a certainty. We couldn't score, couldn't stop conceding and couldn't find a point anywhere. The new manager had a real rescue mission in his hands. It's amazing how far we have come. Even a 0-0 draw is ok from where we were.

Enjoyed the podcast and great point about Field. Last night I thought Field caused us issues by giving the ball away too often and Plymouth's best chances all came from sloppy play by us. In addition to Field I struggled to understand how Kelman wasn't hooked earlier because he was ineffective and didn't look comfortable out on the right. As for  Kakay he is just not consistent enough for me and his loss of concentration nearly allowed Plymouth to  score. I'd much rather see Cannon start who has that added ability of being an attacking threat.

As suggested it's almost certain we will see more changes from Marti for the Sheffield Wednesday game. Whilst these changes are helping to keep the squad fresh it's also giving the manager a chance to evaluate which players are capable of performing in the Championship. 

The one I remember most clearly from last night was most of our defenders and a couple of midfielders all in the center of the park and Kakay playing a square ball that was easily cut out and chaos ensuing!

Probably because we are still in the bottom 3. It's a clash between two sides in the bottom 3 so is always picked up on as a big game.

It's more a 6 pointer for them than us. If we lose we have at least put ourselves in a position where we could still catch the teams above us.

The other teams you mention are definitely in the thick of it now, but because we are still in the bottom 3 relegation remains the chief topic.

It was good to hear that Marti wasn't happy after we only managed a draw with 10 man Plymouth and I fully expect to see changes for this game. After Wednesday nights game I fully expect, Dunne, Kakay, Dozzell and Kelman to be benched for this one.

I think a draw would be a good result against a side that is starting to find its feet in this league with a good young manager
I personally feel as long as we don’t lose our relegation battle with the others is still as marti would of planned
A win of course would be fantastic and my Saturday night made as I’m a bit down this morning for some reason
