Has agreed a £100k/week contract extension at Palace. Eze who has 18 months left on his current Palace contract has apparently agreed to sign for an additional 3 years.
We really, really needed him to move on and get us a windfall. I imagine a lot of our FFP hopes for a bit of leeway over the next 18-24 months hinged on Eze getting a big money move.
But long term isn’t this better for us As he could of ended up going on a free transfer when his current deal run out He’s now tied to palace for longer and will cost big money if any other team wants him anytime soon

Maybe, but you'd think they are less likely to sell now in the next 12 months and we could have done with the money sooner rather than later.
Our best chance of a bonus now is if he starts a game for England.

I think for QPR to have a real chance to move forward we need this to happen.
Next season we already have a bit more FFP leeway, if we can get another Eze windfall it could just give us that extra leeway to really back Marti in the transfer window.
It will be great to get a pot of cash should Eze get sold by Palace but we will only benefit if the money is invested wisely. The club has to have a strategy and instead just allowing the manager to sign whoever he wants the club needs to set out some guidelines.
Palace have priced Eze and Olise at a starting price of £60m each. Let the bidding war commence....
Not convinced that there will be one. Man City going for Paquetá. Arsenal won’t go for him with Ødegaard and Havertz already there. Newcastle and Chelsea have got to be careful with FFP, both going to have to sell before they do anything. Liverpool will have money to spend after they sell Salah but I think there’s better on the continent than Eze in the wide positions, and I don’t see him playing in their midfield three.
Man United I wouldn’t be sure on. I’d be more sure if they do indeed go for Southgate but I can’t see him taking the job so close to the end of the Euro’s. I think ten Hag will be there at the start of next season and will lose his job early to be replaced by Southgate or McKenna. Eze would fit more then, but that means he doesn’t move until January at the earliest. Besides they’ve got Mount and Fernandes to fit those positions in any case.
Wide Left for Spurs could work. But if they go for a centre-forward then Son will move back to the left so, again, not convinced that’s a feasible move. Then we’re looking at Aston Villa who may be in the Champions League. But will they spend £60m+ on a player?? He would fit on the left of a three and add quality to that team. But does Eze see that as a big enough step either. The same applies for West Ham.
Michael Olise is a dead cert to move. Eze, I fancy, may still be at Palace come August. Unless PSG or Bayern have a look.
