For what it is worth, in West London Sport only a few players were rated at 6 (Lumley, Bidwell and Wells were the ones I think) with the rest rated at 7 apart from Luongo who was rated a 8. These are good and reflect how well the team played (despite the finishing)! We should indeed be upset at losing, but equally proud of the team's efforts in their third tough game in six days!!
Cousins was my man of the match, when he got pushed wide we lost all momentum. Why hasn't he been playing like that all season?
He's playing for a new contract now!
A bit like Hoilett a few years back, he was absolutely woeful for the best part of 4 years then suddenly was unplayable when he knew he was going to be looking for a deal here or elsewhere.
Back to Cousins he was fantastic last night, he was everywhere with pace and urgency.

It is interesting that Cousins & Luongo were both the best out there, and that is despite us having a solid defence for almost all of the game! I just wish that we could have a striker as MotM as that would mean we had scored a few and won!! The full 90 video confirmed that QPR were not overawed by Watford and it was pretty much equal all through the game, apart from some crisper passing and, yet again, questionable subbing. BOS should have come on FIRST, rather than Eze, and I would have kept Cousins where he was causing them so much grief! If Wells had to be replaced I would have put BOS in that role, and I would not have taken off Wszoleck who was a threat all along the right wing! I give credit where it is due with Steve McClaren but I have found his recent substitutions at times baffling...
I don't think Watford really got out of second gear and if we had scored I think it would have been backs against the wall for the remainder of the game. Just pleased we made it as far as we did, that another money of the back for next season.
