Bringing players like Judge to QPR is the reason we first got into FFP trouble and it's clear that by offering £250k for a 30yo whose best days are long gone the club are still being financially mismanaged.
After TF wasted hundreds of millions on buying and bringing in some of the most overpaid players the club has ever seen, Mr Smoke and Mirrors declared that,'the club's policy would now be to only invest in young players that can be nurtured and sold at a profit'. So with that being our club policy, how does buying a player who is nearly 31yo, who couldn't get in the Brentford team and then helped Ipswich get relegated warrant a transfer fee of £250k.
Even our DoF must be able to see that buying Judge is poor business.
Other clubs must be laughing all the way to the bank when our negotiators turn up. We had just as well drop the money down the drain.
Let's not forget they have turned down £250k so if we do want him we will be paying more than that.
We may as well accept we are going to end up with him as this is clearly more than rumours and Warburton clearly wants him.
They are stating that the £250k price tag is not right - it is lower than that, but I still feel Warburton would get killed in the stampede if he shouted 'Midfielders to me - NOW!'....

Judge was a decent player in his day but that day has gone.
Last season he played 20 games at Brentford and scored just one goal with no assists. Brentford got rid of him in January and he joined Ipswich where he played 19 games, didn't score but got one assist and got relegated.
So in summary, last year he played in 39 games scoring once and assisting once.
If there is anyone controlling Warburtons signings then surely even they can now see that Judge would be a total waste of money.

Please see above Lee & Les! Although just read that his passing accuracy is 76%, which puts him up with Luongo and far above Freeman I believe?

The club is mismanaged from top to bottom, its got to the stage where you only have to have said hello to Warburton and he will offer you a permanent defender or midfielder role.
