When was the last time QPR had 63% possession? Very impressive. 7 corners to 0 too.
This has the potential to be a great season, I can feel it. There was so many ordinary teams, if we can build on a solid start there is something to be achieved.
I think it will be interesting to hear what Warburton made of today's game, especially his comments about the Huddersfield penalty.
When we allow Manning to push forward it can expose our lack of pace at the back. I thought Huddersfield exposed it clinically with a long ball down the left leaving Barbett out paced and having to make a desperate challenge that resulted in him bringing down the Huddersfield player.
Scowen in the advanced midfield role will work better in away games and when teams are trying to play with the ball themselves. He was a bit lost and wasted yesterday as Huddersfield only tried to play on the counter and had little of the ball.
Huddersfield had clearly seen us against Stoke and doubled up on BOS throughout the game and it largely worked as he struggled to make the same impact, not through lack of trying. It is also clear that we want to play it wide and get the full backs overlapping, but once teams negate that - as Huddersfield did well for the most part - we need to be better at moving the ball quicker to switch play or create openings in the middle. That will come though with more games.
It is just great to see us playing with a plan. It is the best football I have seen QPR play and as players settle and adapt we will only get better.
Plus every player has somebody breathing down their neck for a place so they have to perform. Brilliant.

As fans we are very fickle and if you had asked me before the season started where we are likely to finish my prediction would be lower half and closer to the bottom than middle.
After 2 games I'm a lot, lot more hopeful but with any new manager and so many new players we will need to give them at least 10 games or until Christmas for things to settle. With players like Wallace, Kane, Smith and Ball still to play a full league game for us I suspect that Warburton may still not have been able to field his strongest first eleven.
Having watched the full video of the game, it seems to me that Scowen (especially) and Amos (to a lesser degree) were off the pace; whilst Cameron and Manning played well. BOS was indeed well managed, but Eze was unmanageable! Taking off Rangel for Kane & Chair for Scowen gave an immediate gear change, and I was impressed by both. When Wells came on for Amos there was also good link-up play all along the Huddersfield penalty area. We were shown to be vulnerable to fast strikers on breaks though, and I expect other clubs will soon realise this... Still, 4 points from 2 games is a good start!
