If we lose the next game and anybody mentions being in a relegation scrap I'm shuting the site down. We are a decent team, just inconsistent.
It was a world class ball from Eze for first goal
There was a big moment at 1-0 when Flint hit the bar, if that went in it could have been a different game but Cardiff were a shambles.
It could have been way more than 6 we scored. In the first half a superb flowing move involving Chair and BOS presented Eze with an open goal but he was on the stretch and it went wide.
BOS was unplayable. An immense performance. One of the very best winger displays from a QPR player since the days of Sinclair and Impey.
It was a shame Leistner had to go off forcing us to play the last 15 minutes with 10 men as we could have got 7 or 8 with a full quota and it changed the pattern of play as we had been doing attack after attack.
Tomlin somehow missed from a yard out in the last few minutes and their consolation was coming. Lumley was again massively at fault, it went through him, swerve on the ball or not he has paper hands, he needs sacking as another clean sheet would have done everybody some good.
Overall a surprise and welcome result, Happy New Year

Despite the emphatic win against Cardiff we stay in 15th position. It did at least end a run of 4 games without a win.
QPR scored 6 for the first time this century. We hadn't achieved it since 1999 (last match of 1998/99 Vs Crystal Palace).
It was our biggest league win since August 2003 (5-0 v Blackpool)
Nahki Wells is the first player to score a hat trick since Charlie Austin (against West Brom December 2014).
It means both Wells and Eze went into double figures for league goals scored this season.
We have the second worst defence in the Championship (only Barnsley have conceded more) but conversely the second best attack (only West Brom have scored more)
This time last season we were up in 9th, 4 points better off on 39 points, but of course from this point last season the only way was down as our form slipped away badly in the new year
We are only 5 points off the play offs despite having won just 3 of our last 14 games. When you then consider we only took 1 point from 4 games against Barnsley, Charlton, Reading and Hull it really feels like a missed opportunity.
Lee Wallace won in a QPR shirt for the first time at the 6th attempt
Ryan Manning missed his first match of the season. He had started every one of the previous 25 games. It leaves Ebere Eze as the only player to start all 26 games so far this season.
Prior to today Ilias Chair had not won in his last 10 appearances dating back to Hull in October
Yoann Barbet has now been absent for 13 games in a row
Nahki Wells scored for the first time since 9th November - 9 games without a goal.
Jordan Hugill is of course not getting a lot of starts but has now gone 9 games without a goal - he last scored against Fulham on 22 November
If we lose the next game and anybody mentions being in a relegation scrap I'm shuting the site down. We are a decent team, just inconsistent.
Totally agree northwesthoop about the performances - inconsistency is our problem!
There were also other Championship results to get your head round - away wins for Wigan against Birmingham; Brentford, who put four past Bristol City; Reading beat Fulham; and Stoke beat Huddersfield 2-5! What an odd mix we have in the Championship, year after year!!
Anyway, today I am walking at least an inch off the floor with a smile on my face and feeling G-O-O-D!
We have a very tough fortnight ahead in the league against Brentford and Leeds - both live on Sky - so it reinforces how poor it was to only get 1 point from those matches again Barnsley, Charlton, Reading and Hull. Had we even got 4 points from those matches (We were ahead at home against both Charlton and Hull) we would have been well in play off contention. Fine margins.
