We can look brilliant going forward but you can also bank on some awful defending, Hugill missing when it seems easier to score and Kelly making a mistake.
However, it's a good win and a much needed 3 points.

We should have been 2-0 up, ended up 2-0 down and then still win 4-2. A game very reminiscent of the opening 2 months of the season when we had a few similar scoring games against Luton and Blackburn.
After 3 1/2 games without a goal it was very good to respond with 4 goals today.
So I attend the last 4 games, see us score 1 goal in total, then miss the game where we decide to start scoring? I give up!
What a result today! My mate who was there told me it should’ve been a lot more, whilst Stoke apparently scored with their only 2 attacks all half
It was a pretty open game and overall we just shaded possession. There were lots of shots with Stoke having 15 of which just 4 were on target whilst we had 13 with 9 on target.(69%).
Butland also showed what a good goalie he is because he pulled off some very good saves.
If you haven't yet seen the highlights watch for BOS's miss when he appears to scuff the ball backwards instead of putting it in the net. It probably shaded the miss of the game competition that he was having with Hugill and Hall.

Post Stoke Stats
We are up 1 place to 16th after the 4-2 win against Stoke
The win ended a run of 5 league games without a win (6 without a win in league and cup)
It is still only 3 wins in the last 12 and that is why we find ourselves as mid table as we could possibly be - 11 points from the top 6, 11 points above the bottom 3.
We have completed our first league double of the season, having of course also beat Stoke on the opening day
singlespeed saw QPR win live for the first time ever
We are now 2 places better off than after 33 games last season
Yoann Barbet's last 10 games for QPR:
7 wins 2 draws 1 defeat
Key man.
Jordan Hugill scored his 10th league goal of the season (12 overall)
Ebere Eze scored for the first time in 7 games is one better than Hugill in the league (11) but one lower overall as he hasn't scored in the cup so 11 is his total.
First of all boys Thanks for the all the comments What a day and what a match,it was strange as we looked pretty comfortable to start with and then some silly passes between our midfield and nervousness in the whole team was starting to show and stoke then go and score 2 soft goals I’m sitting there with my son and said to him,the curse of singlespeed Has well and truly set in and I must admit I thought we were dead and buried But the team rolled up their sleeves and dusted themselves down to score 2 good goals with eze being the main contribution to both and hugill also was clever with his link ups Campbell was a threat for them and I was nervous when he run at our defence a few times When we went forward we always looked a threat but we need to learn not to make our own mistakes and create openings for the other team,Hall was ok and barbet looked very solid and he won most headers and duels,Ball and manning were good but manning made a couple of silly mistakes especially in the first half Cameron was good today and got stuck in with quite a physical stoke side but eze was absolutely superb and BOS also very good and was sometimes surrounded by 3 or 4 stoke players Warburton at halftime told the players look singlespeed is here and you win the bloody game for him We were great in the 2nd half at times we were unstoppable and some of our link up play was first class, the stoke defence simply were tore apart by our pace and high press game and yes butland made some good saves,on the way home I heard a stoke fan say it could of been 7-2,QPR tore us apart and stoke fans must be now nervous about the drop and I can see why, they looked a beaten team at 3-2 and to be honest I didn’t think at any point we would let another goal in,there was one dodgy moment when our goalie had the ball and it started sliding out of his hands, but Chair goal was the icing on the cake and I must admit in my 49 years of life one of the best days I’ve had,it really was We are not actually a bad side and play some nice passing football but that does lead to errors, but today we showed some balls and never gave up and that got us a great result
It was a great day but strangely subdued as well, pretty quiet walking down from white city station and the queens tavern wasn’t exactly busy either I know we ain’t really got a lot to play for now but 13000 wasn’t a bad crowd for the weather conditions too QPR is a frustrating team to watch as we can play some superb football, but we can overplay it and get caught out at times We fully deserved to win today and I witnessed a very entertaining game and I got a sore throat now and a bit of headache my son bought me today’s tickets for my birthday and I said what a present hey son There’s not a lot makes me happy generally but seeing my football team win does and I will never forget what I saw today Next season will be interesting as I can’t see us keeping eze,he was different class today, stood out from every other player, looks so good on the Ball and he will go far I personally think stoke thought it was game over at 2-0 and then tried to sit on 2-2 but it seriously backfired on them I will sleep well tonight for sure
Just to say the first 3 goals all came from absolutely superb passes. Manning and Pugh with excellent through balls for the first 2, then Barbet with a pinpoint long ball for the 3rd. Great stuff
Pugh is solid but does tire after an hour, but Rangel also adds that experience,it’s gives us a bit of balance In my opinion we do need a more commanding keeper,Kelly looked very shaky at times and he seemed lost as to where to kick the ball when he had it,made a couple of good saves, but we haven’t replaced Alex smithies in my opinion yet Look a better defence with barbet in the team,he’s a very composed player and plays the passing out from the back very well We did beat a pretty good side easily in the end but saying that it could of gone any way if we didn’t win the midfield battle and ball did that superbly, personally think going 2-0 down fired the players up more and came out in the second half a better team We didn’t make many mistakes in that half either, luckily stoke did
So I attend the last 4 games, see us score 1 goal in total, then miss the game where we decide to start scoring? I give up!
What a result today! My mate who was there told me it should’ve been a lot more, whilst Stoke apparently scored with their only 2 attacks all half
Taking aside BOS' attempt to make a worse miss than you can do Hugill, when we finally did score it was a question of goals from all four attackers. That makes it more difficult for other sides to mark players out of a game and, as importantly, a lot of monkeys are off backs after that performance (Eze, Hugill & Chair especially)! The BBC mentioned:
Jordan Hugill, who has registered the second most shots off target in the Championship this season (40), has bagged just one goal in his past 14 league appearances.
Well we are back to winning ways and proven that anyone could pop up to score. My only regret was that Chair's goal was not one of his spectacular long-range shots!
Thanks for the match insight @singlespeed and glad you enjoyed it so much! Now you will be able to change your comment to 'I have never been to the stadium and had a draw'. It is different attending as you get a far wider perspective of the game and also do not have to rely upon edited highlights.
