Whilst we are a decent team going forward our defence is one of the poorest in the Championship having conceeded 62 goals in 37 games.
Playing training matches against Premiership teams who are probably a few days ahead of us in fitness has exposed our weakness even further.
It's been clear for most of the season that Hall is not a dominant central defender and that both Todd Kane and Ryan Manning are decent going forward but can't defend.
An even bigger issue is our lack of pace right across our backline. Barbet, Hall and Leistner are constantly exposed by the through ball. A cruise liner turns quicker than our central defenders.
Warburton doesnt seem to learn and he will almost certainly end up with the poorest QPR managerial record for Championship goals conceded in a season since we were relegated back from the Premiership.
The one area where Warburton is ahead of most other coaches is Social Distancing. He implemented this tactic in August 2019 and it's something he has operated successfully!

I did not bother to watch the Premiership games played yesterday but there were reports of stoppages to deal with cramp. Given that, as you say, they are ahead of the Premiership in terms of training, we must expect even more problems for Championship sides as the league games continue, and I am guessing we have a smaller squad than many others?

I imagine teams will struggle but thankfully we don't have a midweek game this first week so can have another week of training in the legs by the second game.
As a side note I only watched 10 minutes of the first game and I found the artificial crowd noise could work but just seemed to never be in time. But without it i felt i was watching a non-league game. The sooner fans can be back the better!
One thing I noticed is that in the last 10 days not once did I hear that the Premiership & Championship were restarting - only the former! I think it just demonstrates that the media (at the very least) is so Premiership-centric that other leagues can forget getting decent coverage. Cannot help wondering if that will change when Premiership clubs start buying up League 2 clubs to become their 'B' teams.....?

Couldn't agree more on this - I had no idea the League 2 play offs were starting today until I saw the score for the first match on BBC Sport before. That is shambolic really. These clubs need exposure more than ever and they aren't getting it. Very poor from Sky especially who have the rights to the match and didn't even mention it during the coverage last night.
