From the outside looking in we are club in freefall with a marmite manager.
All we will get is desperate players like Chris Martin.
I totally agree northwesthoop.
Nothing will change however, until the club implement a plan that has some feasible aims and I suspect for that to happen we would need new owners. Our owners never seem to learn from their previous mistakes and I remain convinced that they have more interest in the value of the ground and it's assets rather than the football club.
I have noticed recently that others are now agreeing with my long held view that West Ham Tony and his mates operate under a "Smoke and Mirrors" approach. The reason we are in this mess is quite simply down to the owners poor management. There seems to be a fear by some fans that without the financial support of these owners we would nose dive down the leagues, well I would suggest if they continue to run the club in its current fashion that will happen anyway!
worrying thing is no transfer rumours of players coming to us yet just of ones leaving or who have actually left i cant understand why we are not looking for players already this league is going to be one of the strongest championships weve had in years and we will as usual leave it till last minute and end up getting injury prone premier league players on loan

Its highly unlikely that there will be funds to buy anyone so we will again operate in the bargain basement and because contracts don't end until June/July some players could still be in talks with their parent club.
Based on Ainsworth's comments that he's regularly contacted by agents who are offering him many players I'd presume he's weighing up his options and may have already spoken with some targets. Another issue at the moment is going to be whether our own players like Chris Martin, Duke McKenna etc., are going to leave or agree new deals.
I'm not sure when pre season training starts but I'd think Ainsworth would want to have some deals done to get any new players integrated and available for the friendlies in Austria at the start of July.
