Forest added in 3rd, their squad is probably too big, but it is strong on paper.

Derby back up, not quite as high as they had been, but in 8th for now. I don't like Rooney either but I can't see them finishing below the likes of Birmingham and Luton!

Preston are hard to beat but I think they are starting to slip slightly.

I think Stoke will do much better this season. Michael O'Neill did a good job with them when he arrived halfway through the season, and with a full season with him at the helm they will be markedly better.
I still think Cardiff overachieved last season and the fringes of the playoffs is optimistic; if they do any better it will be due to the weakness of the Championship.

Well, let's see how well we did with our 'league table formed by committee'

RESULTS:

Last season we didn't get any teams position exactly right but were a grand total of 96 places out, which averages as exactly 4 places out per team

This season we had 4 teams exactly correct (Norwich, Cardiff, Birmingham and Sheff Weds) but were a total of 117 places out with the other 20 - 4.9 places per team

We were only 1 position out for 3 teams, and 2 out on another 3

[/font][li]We only predicted 3 of the top 6! Last season we got 5/6[/li]
[li]We had QPR 5 places lower in 14th[/li]
[li]We got 2 of the relegated teams correct and only had Rotherham 1 place outside the bottom 3[/li]
[li]Our worst prediction was Barnsley - 15 places below where they finished! Going the other way we had Forest 14 places too high![/li]
[li]Our other stinkers were Reading and Bristol City 10 places out and Derby up in 12[/li]
[/ul]

Room for improvement next season!
