Why do we let Barbet take free kicks? I know he had a dream when he was a kid that he smashed one into the top corner from 30 yards, but can he please bugger off and stop wasting our time. We can't continue to let him waste so many good opportunities when they arise.
BOS should take a touch and fire at goal after a neat ball from Adomah but he has the touch of Jimmy Saville and it ends up with the keeper when he is stood on the penalty spot. Woeful.

I put both of the following sentences after the Sheffield Wednesday draw before the international break:
I'll say this. We are quite dull this season. 4 League games now and we aren't the same swashbuckling side as last year. Something isn't clicking.
....My frustration is we aren't as good to watch this season yet. I think it's hard to get the balance right for Warburton right now.
2 matches on and we've not scored since and continue be very dull to watch.
Tonight is without doubt the worst performance this season, but with only 6 goals in 6 games overall so far (2 of which were penalties) it doesn't bode well.
How can a side that did so well against an ex-PL side a few days earlier perform so poorly tonight? Nobody really shines except perhaps Carroll - Cameron's passing continues to be wayward; Kakay had a mare; Wallace, well best not go there; BOS was not up to taking on the backs; and Dieng should surely must save at least one penalty this season...?
I truly believe that those players go out there to give their best. Unfortunately most of them aren't good enough and whilst they can have the occassional good game they will be found out over the season.
Preston were an average team that benifitted from 2 Wallace mistakes. Wallace like Cameron, Ball, Kakay, Chair and Carroll are not to blame because they get chosen despite not being good enough for the Championship.
Warburton knew our defence was crap before the season started, he also knew we lacked a leader and a midfield general. The blame rests solely with the manager who will tonight tell us yet again that our defending was 'unacceptable' but he continues to be unable to sort the issues out.

Saturday I'm convinced was a flash in the pan. No doubt we missed Dykes tonight but I doubt it would have made any difference to the result because Warburton would have set up with the same 4-2-3-1 system that hasn't worked for over a season.
Our wing backs/full backs are very poor, our midfield lacks any creativity and only knows how to pass backwards. We all knew that Eze was head and shoulders above any other QPR player last season and now we can see just how much he was carrying the rest of them.
Out defence has needed strengthening for 2 or 3 seasons now we have weak areas all over the park,have a bit of talent too,but what’s the point having players like dykes and Bonne if they are provided no service,we missed dykes tonight and Amos tonight,but we so lack any leader or creativity at the moment it’s not a great start because we are only 6 points above Wycombe who haven’t won a single game,Sheffield Wednesday -12 points have got 8 points this season and I hope they manage to get out of trouble as they deserve it if they do I personally think it’s not football without the crowds and games can be won simply through fans contributing to the atmosphere I’m simply not that interested this season and watching boring training like games isn’t exactly my cup of tea a poor result and I’ve never rated warburton to be honest but it’s his job to sort the team out without eze we are really average and adhoma is an example of what a QPR player should be as far as effort
Last season we did the double over Preston but the defeat this time out drops us to our familiar position over the past few years of 16th

We've not scored in back to back league games - the record under Warburton was 3 games without a goal at the start of February, so we could equal that unwanted record on Saturday.
The general poor form for QPR goes back to mid December last year when we lost against Barnsley
Since then we've only won 8 from 31 league games
We've not won back to back games since 11 December
Behind closed doors we have only won 20% of our league games (3 from 15)
Since the start of last season, no side has given away more penalties (13) or conceded more goals via the penalty spot (12) in England's top four tiers than QPR. (this last one is courtesy of Jack Supple on Twitter
Warburton when interviewed after the game said, "the warm up was nice and bright".
Well that was a positive then!
I still come back to comparing last night's game against that against Bournmouth. Four days and Carroll in for Amos is all that separates these fixtures, yet it was like watching a different team... Gone was the well-thought out strategy of chasing the opposition when in possession and instead it was a poorly coordinated movement around the field. OK the passing was good in midfield but, as has been mentioned earlier, it was often sideways or backwards and then the ball had to be hurriedly hoofed upfield as their attackers charged them. Losing Eze has lost that creative spark to suddenly do the unexpected and Chair has not progressed enough to offer that; whilst BOS decided not to take on their backs for some reason. I get the fact that we have cut our cloth to be financially as sound as a club can be in the pandemic, but we all knew Wallace was a) not the best LB and b) no Championship-level LB came in during the window. We all know this is, after all, QPR and history dictates we should expect inconsistency. I just hoped we were getting over that....
