It is that time of year again to look back and laugh about how wrong we were

Let's see who actually got something correct... 5 points for each correct answer...



1) How many goals will Charlie Austin score this season? 7 (5 league - 2 cup)

Every single player had him in double figures but it wasn't to be with only 5 league goals and 2 in the cups. Nobody saw the struggles coming.

2) Who will make the most appearances for QPR this season? Yoann Barbet

Barbet topped the list in both league and league/cup combined and only jimjams had it correct with most of us going for Chair, Dickie or Dieng

3) Who will be the QPR player of the year? Chris Willock

coastalhoop, myself, Ghost, jimjams and SydneyR had Willock. LurkR was lured in my the pre-season performances of Odubajo!

4) What position will QPR finish in? 11th

Nobody went as low as 11th - LurkR was closest with 9th and a few of us went with just outside the Top 6. There was a lot of optimism last summer!

5) Who will win:
.....A) The Premier League? Manchester City
.....B) The Championship? Fulham

Well done to kingfisher, CutePR and Rosco Bosco who had both correct. jimjams went for the wrong side of Manchester with his pick of Man United! coastalhoop (Liverpool) and ranger-boy (Chelsea) were the only other players who didn't get Man City. jimjams did at least have Fulham along with Ghost. Most entries were for West Brom and the less said about minxymartin and coastalhoop going for QPR the better!

6) Which 3 teams will get relegated from the Championship? Barnsley - Derby - Peterborough

ranger-boy, Ghost and jimjams picked Huddersfield who of course finished 3rd! Nobody got all 3 and that is because almost all of us had Blackpool who ended up never anywhere near the bottom 3. Only jimjams didn't get 1 of the 3.

7) How many clean sheets will QPR keep this season? 14 (12 league - 2 cup)

Ghost, Rosco Bosco and MCM Hoop had this correct. minxymartin had a wishful 23!!

8) Which QPR player will pick up the most bookings? Sam Field - 14

Fair play to LurkR for predicting this when we knew he was out injured for the first few months. Most went for Rob Dickie who was 2nd.

9) The Sack Race... Which team will sack their manager first from:
.....A) The Premier League? Xisco Munoz (Watford)
.....B) The Championship? Chris Hughton (Nottingham Forest)

A lot had Watford, only LurkR had Forest

10) Which Round of the FA Cup will QPR reach? 4th Round

Ghost, LurkR, jimjams, SydneyR and ranger-boy all had 4th round



And this year the winner is Ghost with 35 points, 1 correct prediction ahead of LurkR who takes 2nd.

The top 2 from last year stoatey and MCM Hoop actually ended up amongst the lowest scorers on 15 points.
