the thing is about wing back for me its by far the hardest position to play because if caught out of position the whole world seem to see the mistakes more than any other position
the fitness of a wing back is something else if you were to monitor how many miles a wing back runs per game would be very interesting
i think Ball on the other hand has been outstanding in saying that ive seen nothing of the bournemouth game
ive seen the stats though it seemed like we were the better team
anyone tell me how Andre Gray looked in the past 2 games?
delighted that he got off the scoresheet on his debut and i think he almost scored at the death yesterday?
Gray got one sniff of goal last night and their keeper did well to save it. We didn't play to his strength by playing through balls for him to run on to but went with long balls none of which went past him so he was always battling with defenders.

I have not seen the game, so I am only going on what you are all saying, but did we switch from possession-based play to long balls because we could not penetrate their defence by passing movements? I will obviously watch the full 90 minutes video tomorrow with all your comments and the final score line to influence my watching; but this was the result I predicted. There was no way Bournmouth were going to be as bad as last season. I would have loved for us to keep our non-losing record but it was always going to go sometime. All that matters is that we played our best and lost to a better side (or even a luckier side as sh&t does happen)!
FINALLY got to see the full 90 minutes and have to say that QPR were dominant and only a mixture of poor finishing and luck denied us a minimum of a draw. I was really disappointed with Bournmouth's cynical fouling, and if this is what Scott Parker feels he needs to do in order to get back to the PL - then dream on! More like Millwall of the South Coast!!
