Great post ranger-boy and brilliant support as always.
It was an excellent clean sheet, as you say Blackburn usually score. Plus after conceding 4 against Fulham it should give the defence their confidence back straight away.
I said it a few times today and I agree that I don't think we will see Odubajo again for a while. If we do then like you he has my full support, but he needs to earn his place again now after too many errors and performances that have been lacking. As you say 'Boro away he was naive then also Reading away he was at fault for the first goal as he was caught sleeping and he could have done more on the third, Bristol City and Preston both exploited his side with long balls in behind him. Not good enough to date.

it's just a shame we didn't keep the reciept after the United game
Saturday and Tuesday, two games with completely different feelings/events. The only similarity is that I got completely soaked both games!
That was SO MUCH BETTER from the team! The first half was scrappy and boring, but we played so much better as the game went on, and fully deserved the win! I'm also absolutely delighted for the defence, with a clean sheet to bounce back from the weekend!
Adomah starting at RB was the correct decision for me. Kakay coming off the bench late on to see the game out is better for him as gives him less time to make any errors (and even made a great challenge late on last night) and Moses needs to get out of the club. Adomah comfortably MOTM last night, all he needed was to score to fully complete his night.
That was only the second time all season Blackburn have failed to score in a game this season, so the clean sheet is also a huge statement to make! The thing that pleased me most was how we kept carving away against a team that clearly came for a point, yet we kept going and eventually found way through out of absolutely nothing. How often have we seen the team do that ober the years? Not often!
I said the other day that this is a big week for us to see how we respond in the 2 games after Fulham, so far weve had a win and a clean sheet. Great response so far, and now hopefully more of the same on Saturday!
And finally, there's something so satisfying about a lat winner at home to them. How often have we gone there and lost the game late on! About time we did it back to them!
Thanks Ranger Boy I very much appreciate your overview of games. While I agree with Tom Cat about Moses (there must be a decent player in there somewhere) completely understand your frustration and its easy to be relaxed about it while I'm sitting watching on my sofa enjoying a beer.
