Rotherham have been closing us down and not allowing our players any time on the ball. Johansen is going to need to be careful because he got booked early and is still making some silly challenges.
We have lacked a bit composure and need someone to control things. Its another lacklustre first half where everything has been a bit kick and rush. Warburton needs to sort them out and get them playing better in the 2nd half.
I dont see what Andre Gray adds to this team and when Chair and Willock aren't playing there is very little created.
I'm not convinced by 2 up front. It means we don't control the ball as well and also seems to leave the full backs exposed.
We've had the better chances but Barbet needed to make a fantastic block later in the half.
Thomas clearly keen to impress, good half.
Archer looks a bit shaky at times.
I think that the first half lacked any real quality and it has been more huff and puff. Hopefully, Warburton will get into them at HT and we will see better in the 2nd half.
