I don't mind Barbet having a rest but I'm amazed Wallace is playing. He is so critical to our league hopes. Surely we should have played Odubajo at left back and Kakay on the right?
see dieng isnt on the bench think he will make the bench for the boro game
dont like the 2 of Dykes and Austin playing together no pace whatsoever and will bump into each other no doubt having 2 target men in same line up not for me
Do not forget his record should be considered for league games, and he certainly does deserve a rest!
Have to agree about the comments made elsewhere that Kakay should have been RWB & Odubajo have been LWB. Does this indicate that MW does not rate Kakay enough? (It certainly cannot be related to his AFCON time as Chair has gone straight in to replace Willock!)
Barbet should keep his league record, he'll still make it to 2 years without missing a league game by the time we get to Wednesday against Boro.
We know he'll play all remaining 18 league games barring injury, so it does make sense to leave him out today.
kingfisher I think today is the ultimate proof that Warburton has gone off Kakay - he's rather risk injury to Wallace than play Kakay. That says so much.
Their first attack, very much against the run of play. Also very lucky that an initial block fell straight to Ward.
Odubajo denied straight after. We are playing ok.
We seem to have upped things since the goal.
Seems that there's a bit of grudge between Sanderson and the Peterborough striker (Clarke Harris). They have been talking and arguing since the kick off.
