An enjoyable game to watch and the players never gave up. I thought we were the better team and Chair seems to have a bit of his mojo back. George Thomas ran his heart out and never stopped hounding the Town defenders.
Our defending of set pieces was a concern and we saw not only the opening Huddersfield goal but a clearance off the line from corners.
Amos could have won it for us but put his header just over.
Sorba Thomas of Huddersfield looks a decent acquisition from non league and caused us issues with his strength and pace.
No he does not, but I think he will be delighted with the performance if not the result! MotM on Sky was Chair, which feels right to me. The best he has played since the African Cup!
And there in a nutshell is why we shouldn't sack MW
Why?
because we got a draw 5 games too late away at Huddersfield?
who got MOtM against Peterbrough or Cardiff?
NWH agreed if we get 3 points at home to Derby makes the whole picture look rosier
However the game which like the previous games at home to Cardiff and Peterbrough (seem almost a home banker) he loses this one or even draws the decision to keep him will become even harder
i cant see him survive this
only way he survives is him winning at least 3 of the remaining 4 games
I couldn't be bothered posting when I got home at 1am last night, but now I feel refreshed from it. What a game that was, and a fully deserved point away to a very inform team!
We started slowly, but the equaliser right before Half Time helped massively for confidence. We had a minor setback with their second, but after that we played superbly and probably should have even won it. However I won't be greedy as I'm delighted with a point! I've not enjoyed an away day like that for quite a while!
Also before yesterday, Sam Field had been booked in 7 of his last 9 games, so it seemed like a great idea to put £10 on him getting booked at 6-1. Cue celebration from me in the 95th minute when he made a tactical foul, made it 8 bookings in 10 and covered the cost of the day for me! Cheers Sam!
If you all want to make easy money, lump on him getting booked on Monday!

Because he's stopped the rot and can get a strong performance out of our second string team.
You have to look ahead... Next season we could have a squad that struggles just to stay in the division in which case MW is the perfect manager to keep us ticking over.
If you think he has to be fired for failing to make the playoffs then fine... Personally I want to see more of MWs style of football

you make good points jimjams especially regarding the style of football he plays.....it wasnt long ago i was still all for MW being here hes been our best manager since Neil Warnock without doubt but the dip in form and results has made me wonder has he lost the dressing room
my fear however is this form continues into the beginning of next season....say we were to lose all 4 games left this season and by a decent margin with
he has messed this up no matter how everyone puts a spin on things.
even if we won all 4 of our remaining games hes messed this up.
i just hope if he stays at start of next season he can make this is distant memory
my thoughts though are the board are feeling the same as me
