Millwall bid for Lewis Ferguson — £1.5m. Excellent player we should be looking at!
I agree jrperry1882, Ferguson is a very good young player who would be an asset. He plays on the left side of midfield and at 22yo he can only get better. I believe that he's also wanted by an Italian club.
Cagliari made an offer of a loan with a view to a permanent last winter but Aberdeen knocked it back. I had a hunch they’d be selling Ferguson this summer once I saw Ramsay was being sold to Liverpool. Ferguson would be an absolute steal at £1.5m. I was expecting to him go for north of £4m.
If Swansea do not want him then Cardiff would be his choice it seems. I think he would rather be a 'big fish in a small sea' than try to compete for a PL place or go to the US for the money. He may not have the stamina he once had, but his dead ball kicks are going to scare the pants off Championship goalies!

Could be one of those "Rooney to Derby" type deals where they have a sponsor fund the deal and he has a specific shirt number or even a different sponsor on his shirt to the rest.
There is no way a Championship club can afford him within FFP rules.
And as sentimental as his desire to play for Cardiff may be he's not going to take £20,000 a week when he is probably being offered 5 times that abroad.
You could end up in a situation whereby other clubs protest at Bale taking reduced wages, arguing that it doesn’t represent his market value and thus gives Cardiff an unfair advantage by skewing the competition and rules. Still think Atlanta United where Jack Collison works will be where he ends up, the Championship obviously isn’t as physical as it was 10 years ago but he’d still be a sitting duck in this division and somebody would fancy a crack at him. It carries too many injury risks for him.

...and so he moves to Los Angeles FC
Isn’t going to get kicked up in the air given he’s playing in the same team as Chiellini. Fans won’t care if he doesn’t bother playing half the games, and Pebble Beach is only up the road so plenty of ⛳️ to get in! Perfect fit isn’t it?
