I think he is going by what is available now, and he would agree the subs bench lacks quality in some areas. Given we can use 5 subs the quality in depth of the subs is even more important than last season!
I agree. I'd even suggest that having to include players like Albert and Dykes in the starting line up shows the limitations and quality of the squad as a whole.
Hopefully, Michael Beale can offload some of our underachievers whilst adding some more quality but until he does the standard of our squad will remain poor.
