It is that time of year again to look back and laugh about how wrong we were

1) How many goals will Lyndon Dykes score this season? 8

Rosco Bosco was the only player to get 8

2) Who will make the most appearances for QPR this season? Seny Dieng/Sam Field (48)

Everybody apart from NoahHoop (Paal) and stoatey/kensalr (Dickie) had Seny Dieng

3) Who will be the QPR player of the year? Sam Field

MCM Hoop and davman had a great pick here getting Field - and jrperry gave him a mention too. The majority went for Chris Willock or Ilias Chair. LurkR went for Tyler Roberts. Ouch.

4) What position will QPR finish in? 20th

Nobody went for 20th but jrperry was again close predicting 18th - most of us went top half.


5) Who will win:
.....A) The Premier League? Manchester City
.....B) The Championship? Burnley

ashqpr went for Chelsea and couldn't have been much wider of the mark for how their season panned out! The only other player not going for Man City was kingfisher (Liverpool)

Only NoahHoop and kensalr had Burnley - the most popular pick by far was Norwich who ended up in the bottom half!

6) Which 3 teams will get relegated from the Championship? Wigan, Blackpool, Reading

Nobody had all 3 because Blackpool were the team we almost all overlooked for the drop - only jrperry1882 picked them to go down

The worst picks were SydneyR who had both Sunderland AND Luton who both ended up in the top 6 whilst kingfisher picked Coventry!

Rotherham and Birmingham were the most popular picks who avoided the drop

7) How many clean sheets will QPR keep this season (league only)? 9

Only singlespeed and ranger-boy went for 9

8) Which QPR player will pick up the most bookings? Sam Field

davman, jrperry1882, kensalr, myself, Ghost, LurkR, Rosco Bosco, MCM Hoop, Jalfrezi Rs and ranger-boy all had Sam Field

9) The Sack Race... Which team will sack their manager first from:
.....A) The Premier League? Bournemouth
.....B) The Championship? Stoke

singlespeed and davman had Bournemouth whilst only jimjams had Stoke

10) How many cup matches will QPR win (League Cup and FA Cup combined)? Zero - 0

Nobody predicted that we'd be knocked out in the opening round of both cups!


davman and MCM Hoop were tied at the top on 30 points so I've used QPR's finishing position as a tie-breaker with players losing points for how far out they were and that makes davman our winner for 2022/23!
