I've added Millwall. We know that under Rowett they will never be a pushover and have a good squad at this level now. I think they will finish above the 8 teams I currently have below them, but can't see them above Burnley

Preston are another side I’ve got a good feeling about this season. Riis Jakobsen gives them a goalscorer, McCann and Browne are tidy in midfield and Woodburn and Brady could prove astute additions if they can both keep themselves fit. Think they’ll finish in and around the play-offs.

I like the Blades, like their team. But not sure there is enough goals in this side and they are now all a year older. Expect Ndiaye and Norrington-Davies to have big seasons. And it’d be fabulous to see Jack O’Connell return from injury. A lot depends on Sander Berge’s future. Can’t see him staying and can see United falling just short of the play-offs

Sunderland will need a season or more to consolidate after their promotion from League 1 but I can see them managing to finish around the middle of the Championship.

Tricky one this one because Dennis and Sarr are still at the club with a week left before the start of the season. But Rob Edwards is an appointment that suggests an end to the yo-yoing of previous seasons, so I’m sceptical as to whether promotion is on the cards. I can see Edwards losing his job before the end of the season. This squad feels like a bunch of misfits all clubbed together, so I’m being cautious and putting them further down the table than some may expect.

So we can get this finished before kick-off tonight I’ll add Wigan…

The squad looks thin and they’ve only added Ryan Nyambe so far. Be interesting to see how Leam Williamson adapts tactically to the division, but I expect them to be towards the bottom of the division. I do though anticipate a series of loan arrivals before now and the end of the window which will baulk the squad out a bit, but still question marks over the quality they possess.
