If you like it just to carry on like this season after season Looking over our shoulder when MAY comes Not winning away, getting knocked out of cup competitions Early then Holloway is our answer Our goalscoring record is terrible every season now Makes it harder to win games Just it when it seemed when we turned a corner with the wolves game and that and then forest completely thrashed us and since then we haven't recovered
Problem is @singlespeed that we are unlikely to improve under a new guy.
He won't have any money to spend and we can all see the failings in the current squad so his hands would be tied.
Holloway has tried to go down the 'working hard' and 'fighting for the shirt' route with a workmanlike side, but even he was questioning the spirit on show last night which is the worrying thing I guess.
We are heading for a few years sitting in the Championship in the lower echelons. The board seem happy with that now, as opposed to a year ago when Jimmy got sacked.
Every year we head towards the winter and the manager bites the bullet. Every year nothing improves.
Holloway had won one from his first 7 games in charge with 6 defeats (finished season lower than when he joined) JFH didn't win any of his first 7 and only 2 of his first 14 (finished in the same position as when he joined) Ramsey got one win from his first 7 also with 6 defeats (finished season bottom, 1 place lower than when he joined) Redknapp one win from first 8 in charge (finished bottom, same place as when he joined)
Not once did we improve under a new manager.
Changing the manager will change nothing and mean we change the whole squad again in January and next summer and if it doesn't work we'll be in the same position calling for another head in November next year. We are what we are now, a club in transition, so buckle up for a few years of this inconsistent dirge.

I don't want ollies head to roll, just think it's hard to accept that our only goal is to avoid relegation, which we don't make easy for ourselves Northwest I see your point mate, but last night, the team selection was totally baffling and we were awful in the second half Its frustrating to know that we are out of games once the opposition has scored,be nice to fight back after going a goal or two down for a change We don't seem to know what we're doing half the time as Ollie resorts to long ball once smith is on or playing as sub No threat in the box from our strikers and just resort to shots outside the box How many goals from set pieces do we score, how many from corners, how many penalties we had We don't have enough to hurt defences and that's what is costing us games Let's be honest we held on against wolves and sheff united and if they had their shooting boots on we'd of probably lost or drew at best Hard to feel positive knowing we got bogey team on sky next and then an away game which we haven't won a away game since January Manager has to have some blame for this
Having had a few chats this am on the phone with other family members. It seems feelings are starting to build against OLLIE. Understandable with recent results. And with a busy schedule coming up. The general feeling is that we have gone backwards since JFH. That's clear by last year's point's tally. between now and new year are crucial for OLLIE.

I agree with what you have put here. But the only solution would be to change manager and we never benefit from changing manager so I don't see anything resolving quickly right now. We won't be able to make sweeping changes to the squad in January.
We have never addressed the chronic lack of pace in the squad. We don't have anybody running past people, getting at teams, scaring defences. And those that could possibly do that (Samuel, Shodipo) are nowhere near the first team picture and we don't play with wingers anyway.
We had our chance at a higher level and blew it to epic proportions. A few painful years with waves of inconsistent form are going to be the norm for a while.
We had it so good it makes this feel worse than it probably is to some extent.
Ollie's record since he joined us in November 2016 up until last night doesn't make great reading but it's better than many of our recent managers. With the squad of players we have and our financial position it would be difficult for any manager. Over the last 12 months of Ollies management the team have Played 51 games of which we have won 16, drawn 9 and lost 26. A winning percentage of 31.3%
JFH was with our manager for 47 games and his record reads as Played 38 games, won 11, drawn 15 and lost 12. A win percentage of 28.9%.
Chris Ramsey managed us for 30 games and had a win percentage of 26.7%
Of our permanent manager in recent times its only 'Arry' who was in charge for 103 games that has got a better win percentage (35%)
It's not just a case of a new manager It maybe just time for some new ideas, freshen things up We've gone stale at the moment and it needs to change soon
Can't be many managers with a defeat ratio over 50% though?
Holloway crossed over that with last nights defeat. Pretty shocking really to be losing half of our matches in the past 12 months.
Based on manages who managed QPR for 20 matches or more there are only 3 who have a worse defeat ratio than Ollie does in his 2nd spell with us.
Mark Hughes managed us for 32 games of which 18 were defeats (56.25%) and Steve Burtenshaw whose record is 22 defeats from 41 games (53.7%) Chris Ramsey has a record of 16 defeats from 30 games (53.3%) Ollie's 2nd spell as manager is now the 4th worst record with 26 defeats from 51 games (50.98%). His 1st spell as manager was 81 defeats from 252 games (32.14%). Over his 2 spells as manager he now has a defeat ratio of 35.31%.
Bill Dodgin junior does match Mark Hughes 56.25% loss ratio ( 9 defeats) but he only managed us for 16 games.
Anyone know what Neil warnocks win lose ratio was I bet his stats are pretty good
In his first period Neil Warnock managed us for 84 games, winning 33, losing 24 and drawing 27. A winning percentage of 39.29%., his loss ratio would be 28.57%
His 2nd spell was as a caretaker and it was 2 wins, 1 defeat and a draw from his 4 games

Great stats stoatey - it does highlight what bad company Holloway is in for his second spell. His name being alongside Hughes and Ramsey is not exactly encouraging.
He cause is definitely being helped by who he is. Anybody but Ian Holloway and I don't think the fans would be so forgiving.

I totally agree with your point about Holloway. We all know that he is just like us and bleeds blue and white hoops and only wants the best for QPR. His passion for QPR is infectious and I still believe that he is the best man to manage the club at this time. However, if we don't perform against against that mob from down the road on Monday I fear that his days may be numbered. Its probably Ollies biggest game since his return and Im sure that if we do win on Monday the confidence will return.

I think down to our injuries etc he will last a bit longer even if we lose to Brentford live on sky But the board must have started to think is it time to change things I love Ollie and his passion for QPR but the reunion isn't working out that well in my opinion
