That last minute goal is a bummer though What that would of meant to win at home at last against a team second in the league and flying Our position in the table with those extra 2 points too I know we all would of taken a draw but that’s a real hard one to take especially as we had it in the bag
I travelled to Brighton to join some of the Brighton, Worthing and Sussex QPR Supporters group. We were watching at 'The Eddy' or 'Edinburgh' pub. It was great to meet them but, once we scored, we all felt time seemed to go at half-speed. Even so, we all thought we had made it until we saw the last-second scramble and Warnock's crowing commentary!
Kakay was great tonight though, arguably the best I've seen him play for QPR. Absolutely on his game.
Also contrary to some comments above I thought Roberts was decent tonight - it was the most I've seen him 'try' in a game, he was chasing and helping the press. He tired as the game went on, but it was also his best performance for some time. Could also have scored had Chair found him with a pass in the 2nd half when he was free.
I do agree with the comments about Kakay and Roberts, and pleased they were so engaged. (I was surprised Sheff Utd did not try more down the right against Kakay, but they seemed to have a game plan to break Paal?) Regarding MotM, for me that had to be Sam Field. He was everywhere making a last ditch tackle or breaking up an attack or creating the pass to set us off up field. Great shift!
