It's a bit of catch 22 because sticking with Critchley is a frightening prospect, yet if they sack him they won't want to rush an appointment, because based on the Burnley game we can't leave Hall in charge for long.
Then there is the question of who would want the job? There's always somebody out there desperate enough to take it, but would we want them?
Maybe they will stick with Critchley as a result. Who knows.
We are in a mess whatever way you look at it.

I think I must be the only one who thinks we should keep Critchley
There's enough games and enough players to come back from injury for us to get out of this
I am just not convinced he has the dressing room motivated jimjams, otherwise I would agree with you that change for changes sake is not the answer (and will not be cheap)! I also have doubts over his planning for the games and ability to alter his plans when the game demands it.
Do you think they'd go cap in hand to Ollie asking him to do a short term job? They know he loves QPR and he's certainly full of passion.
As a short term fix I think he'd be the type of motivator we need.
Yes he would be a 'quick fix' but would he want to come back after the last sacking....?
Im sure he would but if the owners just want him on a short term appointment then they will need to meet his demands. Theres no way that I could see Wilder or Ainsworth or Jones accepting a short term deal because they will feel they deserve a long term contract. The other thing is that the owners will need to employ a manager who is acceptable to the fans because they will be looking to deflect the criticism after employing Beale and Critchley.
The owners have put us in a position where we are more beggars than choosers and they need someone urgently to address our freefall. At this stage of the season any manager doing well at another club would steer clear because we wouldn't be worth the risk.
Lets not forget that its not just a manager that we need but a couple of assistants/coaches as well.
At the moment the way the club is run is a shambles from top to bottom.
would ainsworth take it if offered it now at least worse case scenario we would be ready for league one its a doom and gloom situation but could well happen at least we'd get a song at half time if we got ainsworth "always look on the bright side of life"
