The start was bright but we lack that incisive ball and some awful defending and equally poor goalkeeping sees us a goal down AGAIN. At times our play looks lethargic and without any idea.

So far Sunderland have had 7 shots with 4 on target and we've had 2 shots but neither was on target.

Illias   goes down the centre and the goalkeeper saves with his leg.

I doubt we'll get a better chance.  

When we are struggling for goals and confidence we can't afford to miss a penalty.

Dozzell lucky not to see red. Rash challenge in the ankle.

A big chance for Martin but his header goes wide.

Even without the 2nd goal I was just typing how awful we are and then they scored to add to the misery.

The football in the 5-10 minutes before that goal were so bad. We just give the ball away constantly and look as disjointed as I can ever remember.

Can Critchley really survive this? It's not just the form, it's the way we are playing.
