Boro beat Norwich 5-1 last night They are there for the taking when we play them
Could also be bad news because they will be on a mission to bounce back and now absolutely need to beat us if they are serious about finishing top 6!
For some reason, perhaps because we are useless at 'head tennis'(?), we used to play better against sides that liked to being the ball out from the back. With all of Ainsworth's changes I am not sure what we do any more, but the players with the ball skills are still there and could exploit those against the Baggies...
We are hot favourites to go down now with blackpool and Wigan And I can’t see why anybody should think any differently This season has been a total disaster and we quite frankly deserve to get relegated not rely on other teams points deductions,it’s embarrassing to even mention our name right now A easy 3 points that Norwich probably can’t wait to pick up on Wednesday night, loftus road used to be a hard ground to get 3 points its not anymore After Norwich beat us we’ve got to watch Burnley crowned champions when they beat us at their ground The teams around us will probably pick up points and we will as good as be relegated unless we can win our last 2 games Ainsworth is a crap manager incapable of that so we are going into league one, when we go down, somebody has to pay the consequences for it happening, because the fans have endured a one of the worst seasons in our history

It appears from Ainsworth's team selection and tactics (unless the players are ignoring him) that I cant see us winning another game. It's just wrong that he chose Martin as captain, unless others refused. For a few years now we have punched above our weight, There was lots of talk about cutting costs, and being a selling club so maybe our level at the moment is Div !?

I am at a loss too Oopsranger over the team selection - especially that of Martin. Getting overrun in midfield to enable Chris Martin to huff & puff in the final third is a recipe for disaster, and what is going on with Laird that means Jimmy Dunne is preferred at RB? We will be discussing this in the up and coming podcast, but do not expect answers from us - we have no idea what is going on!

I read on another site that during Saurdays game with Coventry Ainsworth was having a very animated conversation with Dickie and Dunne who were arguing back with him.
Whilst we are playing poorly it's important that the manager and the players stick together if we're to get some points and stay in the Championship.

I did not see that but I suppose it confirms that both the manager and some of the players at least still care about the performances and results!
When you see the games left we need a minimum of 4 points but think it will require 6.
Reading have Wigan at home which they should win then Huddersfield last game. Cardiff also have some decent home games
Basically tomorrow night is shit or bust imo, lose that and we're just about done
If I was not feeling depressed before daveb - I am now! I have deliberately not considered what the differences are between our run-in and that of Huddersfield, Cardiff & Reading; and even making the predictions for the last few matches on the podcast recording yesterday was hard. I honestly cannot see us getting more than 1 win and 1 draw out of the last 4 matches. If that happens I will be delighted, but equally not surprised if it is not enough and we are relegated.
Why does anyone think we can suddenly can get a win or two We’ve won a poxy couple of games in 27 games It’s not going to happen,we’re crap at home and we’ve got Burnley so call that 3 games to survive 2 wins in 3 games we will stay up I just can’t see it happening with ainsworth crap tactics and poor team selections

I don't think we will win 2 games but it's really not impossible to.
We're not up against Liverpool, Man City and Real Madrid these next few weeks, we're playing 2 bang average championship sides, a team who are already up and on the beach and a Norwich side in woeful form. This won't be the great escape if we pull it off, we really should be able to manage at least one win from these 4

We could have done without the late Rotherham equaliser against Burnley, it means Burnley have to wait to clinch the title against us on Saturday, which they will be eager to do and motivated to do in front of their own fans.
Hopefully, we can show a bit of fight and get something from the game against Norwich. The players need to show the fans that wearing the blue and white hoops means as much to them as it does to us.
