Four player still available on free transfers. Ryan Nyambe and/or Fankaty Dabo would solve the issue at Right Wing-Back. I'm not a Dabo fan whatsoever, but I'd be more confident watching him play in his natural position than forcing Paul Smyth into an unnatural one. Would prefer Nyambe out of the two.
Ikpeazu, as we've discussed elsewhere is also still available. As is Ronan Curtis who I am a big fan of. He is recovering from an ACL and has done his rehab unpaid at Portsmouth. I'd take him if we can get a wage agreement
It’s as simple as that We don’t sign another striker at least Can’t see us staying up this season There is no goals in this team, plenty of effort but no passing accuracy or real fire power to hurt opposing sides
Personally don’t fancy our chances now This squad is injury prone and lacks goals It’s hurts to have to say that but it’s true Crazy thing is with cook and fox at the back most defeats will be narrow ones We just needed a striker and a right back as dunne would be back eventually to back up the defence I bet Chris Martin is already packing his bags as we speak

Gents don’t panic. We’ll finish above Wednesday, Rotherham, Cardiff, Plymouth and Swansea at least. There are also some good frees still out there. They could easily add one or two to bulk us up and see us to January.

That is what has been comforting me through the threadbare nights......
