The positive is that we showed some spirit after again concedeing two early goals but what this lot practise between games is beyond me because
(i) our defending of set pieces is abysmal with both goals coming after we gave away soft free kicks and
(ii) our shooting is awful, with only 2 shots on target from 14 attempts. In the first half we had 2 great chances from inside the box and both shots were so high over the bar that the only danger was to the astronauts in the space station circling the earth.

I've just caught up on the game and overall it at least gives us something to cling too. It was a shame we couldn't sneak the 3 points at the end with either of the Richards/Dozzell chances.
At 2-0 down the team did well to respond because even 1-0 has seen them collapse mentally recently. That's the main positive that we do still have fight in us.
Dykes never stopped, Amos was snapping about and a big improvement on Johansen.
It looks like Wigan and Blackpool are gone and it's between us, Reading and Cardiff for the final relegation spot.
Rotherham and Huddersfield are in good form and picking up points.
It was a lucky second goal too But we didn’t just down tools at 2-0 down for a change We showed some belief and came away with something We still have alot to do,but it gave the away crowd at least something to cheer about today, rather than them boo the players at the end It’s going to be very nervy and could go down to the last game of the season
Vert true that the squad showed great tenacity and enthusiasm, but equally true that our defending against dead-ball situations is dire! Dieng needs to look long and hard at his impact upon the first goal, and Ainsworth at the second (as shuffling around the three CBs seemed to be the cause of that confusion). Up front, well nothing much has changed since November - we struggle to make chances count as shots on target. Plus side: Chair, Willock and Balogun have all improved as they have played games and I can only hope we see Martin dropped for the Coventry game to allow Willock in. Who was you MotM? For me it was probably Sam Field or Lyndon Dykes.
