What has eustace done wrong at Birmingham They are doing ok this season,18 points and and 6th in the table only 2 points of 3rd place Preston Almost would slot in perfectly if they let him go and we let go ainsworth go Rumour has it eustace is being lined up for the rangers job
Agree with all - sadly including the bit about being lined up for Rangers... He would be a good fit, as would Warburton. Can we afford them though.....?
So it looks like Ainsworth will remain in charge for the first few games after the international break at least. I think if something was going to happen, it would have by now. So, does this mean that he has the backing of the board? Or, more likely I think, that there aren't the financial resources to sever his contract and bring someone else in? There's a lot of well suited replacements looking for work at the moment. They won't be available too much longer.

A big gamble in my opinion by our owners and its not going to improve results wise for a long time to come
A manager is only as good as the players he has available to him and our squad contains too many players that aren't Championship quality. To compound things Ainsworth appears to have little or no confidence in Kakay because he decided to play a left back in Larkeche at right back.
As the saying goes "Always use the right tool for the job". Our issue is we have some right tools but very few of them are right for the job!

It's a major risk and puts a lot of onus on the away game with Huddersfield and then away to West Brom. Because getting anything at home to Leicester is a long shot.
So we could be into November with another 3 defeats quite easily. Add that to the resentment that is already growing and I don't see how he could carry on.
Huddersfield will be a huge match in particular against a team close to us.
The game was soooo bad against Blackburn I thought he might go and he still might...but as I said on a different thread GA can argue mitigating circumstances and 4 points from the next 2 changes things quite a bit
Remember...an average of 1 point per game is all we need to stay up...the board will accept that even if we won't
A win and a draw in the next 2 games gives us 12 points from 13 games...it's really not pretty but I don't think the board will do anything until it looks like GA can't get us a point a game
John eustace would of gone to Sheffield Wednesday by then There’s going to be no happy ending with ainsworth the Birmingham manager was only 2 points of 3rd and knew how to get points in the championship and at home Ainsworth won’t get that elusive home win for a long time to come you ain’t won for ages come to loftus road for 3 easy points
The worrying thing Jim jams mate Do they think ainsworth is worth keeping as he’s a good league one manager Maybe they are actually gambling with our great club’s stability based on ainsworths bullshit he will get us out of trouble soon And if he don’t keep us up I’m good enough to get out of league one and back up to the championship like I did with Wycombe The worst losing run in our history at home and awful display against Blackburn should of been enough for the board to sack him in my opinion Yes there might not be a miracle replacement manager right now but it can’t get any worse really, can it

I did think Eustace becoming available - when he knows the club and a lot of our players and how to get the best from the likes of Willock and Chair - and how he turned Birmingham from relegation certainties to a solid team at this level may force the boards hand, but it doesn't seem it will.

I thought so too mate,he’s a perfect replacement and he’s only 43,young managers are doing well in the championship as well
