...Changing manager just does not work for QPR. So we are a bit stuck to say the least right now. I have no idea what the board must be thinking. I'm sure their instinct right now is to question if Holloway is doing a good enough job, but can anybody really improve us? What can somebody else really do with limited players like Ngbakoto and Mackie and Bidwell and Washington etc that Holloway and JFH have been unable to do?
Well one thing Ollie could do straight away is to not select Ngbakoto for critical games! Unless a miracle occurred yesterday, Ngbakoto is unsuited to the Championship and (unlike Washington) he does have better alternatives in Shodipo or Osayi-Bright or Wheeler. I do not blame Ollie for signing Mackie up for an extra year on the payroll but I am surprised that he has started him so many times. Did he really plan to do this, knowing he lacks the stamina to match his enthusiasm, or did Ollie suddenly realise that neither Sylla or Washington are as good as he thought?
Have to say that I would never include Bidwell in the 'reject bin'. Whenever I have seen him play in a well-balanced side he not only works his socks off but actually makes a difference down the left wing. When he has Ngbakoto up front I have noticed he makes excellent runs but Ngbakoto rarely passes to him. If we were to talk about a defender for the reject bin it would probably have to be Lynch as he can be turned far too easily. This situation brings to mind a conversation I heard this week on TV where it was stated that you could not develop players any more once they became first team members. You had to improve them to their full potential in the development sides or accept that any flaws would never be resolved once the assumed the status of a first team player. I cannot help feeling it would be good for a number of the QPR squad to spend targeted time with the EDS trainers.....

They were just 4 names kingfisher. I put etc. I actually think with the exception of Smithies our whole squad is below par. No stand out players. I could have put any other 4 names there.
So what I'm saying is I don't think any manager would get this whole bunch of players performing much better. I doubt if Guardiola took over we'd suddenly be in the play-offs. My point is the the players we have finished 19th last season and are 19th this season. All not good enough in my eyes.
we lose to Birmingham Holloway is a goner Losing week in week out isnt acceptable We have enough talent to be top half Holloway is tactically naive and it's route one most of the time,we don't put the ball in the back of the net That is our problem,if we score first we then have something to hold on to,the opposition then have to attack it then leaves space to nick maybe a second goal We don't draw,we just lose or win and lose more though Goals will give our strikers confidence they then believe they can score more We so need a striker,a pacy winger and a defender with pace and physical presence Holloway will just get midfielders probably yet again
Sounds like we want change but dont know who can make the change. Better the devil you know though? No alternatives and no point getting rid i dont think. He can make a difference to us, we struggle with consistency but will making big changes help that? I doubt it.
I sort of agree we are too late in the season now To find a miracle cure and we're stuck with what we got It's going to be a painful end to the season if we carry on like we are at the moment Are the board resigned to league one football due to our financial position and lack of spending power We'd actually make a good young league one team and thats what I think we will be next season We are not too big a team or have a right to stay in this league, there are some good sides in the championship And it's not us,we're not winning at home now and we can't win a single game away,we deserve all we get if they can't string an away win or two all season We have to beat Birmingham it will get rid of this away phobia we have hanging over our heads It will get us out of this bad run, they are struggling too but will know we bottle it away I think Saturdays game is our most important game of the Season
Watching tonights game on sky Cardiff who are second look awful 2-0 down and 2 own goals This league is poor even wolves last week Nothing special at all It makes you think why are we struggling Best football I've seen is by Millwall In my opinion

But they came back to draw 2-2. Pkaying poorly but picking up points. They have a "will not lose" mentality, just like we had when promoted under Warnock.
Agree the league is nothing special, it rarely is, you just need a star man or a big goalscorer and we have neither.

I agree with your comments, however, isn't the real reason that we have a multi million pound FFP fine, a poor squad of players who were signed by under achieving managers that were approved by a DoF who was appointed by ...............
