It’s a poor poor result today practically handed on a plate and it’s now down to Marti to see how he gets this group of players to respond

After the game Marti said,

"At half-time we felt we needed to be better at keeping the ball so brought on Chrissy and Lyndon and I think they did a good job, but the last 10 minutes we lost control and Sheffield were better than us."

I disagree because in the first half we looked organised and in control, Armstrong's speed and physicality was causing them issues. Taking off Sinclair and replacing him with the ineffective Dykes handed the initiative to Wednesday. Our midfield got over run and lacked the bite needed to stop Bannan from dominating the game.

As for the last 10 minutes it wasnt helped by the managers decision to change to a back 3 that had been our nemises under Ainsworth. Marti should be holding his hands up and admitting his changes were to blame as much as the players .

Yeah but for me that was a Chair goal, his shot was on target. Deflections don't usually influence the goalscorer as long as the shot was on target.

I have a suspicion Chair will claim it.
