Very disappointing result. And a very poor second half. I've felt we've rested on our laurels over the last two matches, and just expected the results to come without putting in the hard yards. Who knows, this may be what we need to refocus, and get back to doing what we did right. We have narrowed the gap at the bottom, and I'd take the situation we have now compared to where we were anyday.
Marti isn’t a magician But I also think he’s a bit of a one trick pony Teams are starting to work out his style of play He’s done a good job and the gap is narrowing below us but it’s also narrowed above It’s a poor poor result today practically handed on a plate and it’s now down to Marti to see how he gets this group of players to respond

Prediction League results won't be up until a few days time due to the different opinions on Chair's goal. Some are saying own goal, some are saying his shot was on target so counts as his goal despite the deflection.
I'm waiting to see if it is sent to an appeal or contested.
Ilias Chair had given Rangers the half-time lead .... Chair’s goal seemed to have set us on our way eight minutes before the break with a deflected drive from the edge of the area, but there was a late salvo from the Owls.
Where do you guys stand? I imagine Chair will try and claim it.

"At half-time we felt we needed to be better at keeping the ball so brought on Chrissy and Lyndon and I think they did a good job, but the last 10 minutes we lost control and Sheffield were better than us."
I disagree because in the first half we looked organised and in control, Armstrong's speed and physicality was causing them issues. Taking off Sinclair and replacing him with the ineffective Dykes handed the initiative to Wednesday. Our midfield got over run and lacked the bite needed to stop Bannan from dominating the game.
As for the last 10 minutes it wasnt helped by the managers decision to change to a back 3 that had been our nemises under Ainsworth. Marti should be holding his hands up and admitting his changes were to blame as much as the players .

I think last 2 games have shown That it’s now a grim reality if we don’t start beating the teams around us we could start to become adrift again in the bottom 3 and even below Sheffield Wednesday That was probably the most crucial 3 points we dropped on Saturday as that would of distanced us from Wednesday and got us out of bottom 3 I personally think we will have to beat at least one of Millwall or Southampton over the Xmas period now If we don’t then the new year is going to prove a tough one and January of possible desperate transfer activity
