Holloway has got himself a job through Christmas with the win today. If we had lost today and next week he was on real borrowed time. He still needs some results over Christmas, if not the knives will be back out in the New Year no doubt.
As a side note I feel sorry for Birmingham fans. Why did the owners ever sack Rowett?
They've barely won a handful of games ever since under Zola, Harry and Cotterill. Cotterill especially was a bizarre appointment, so dull, never going to inspire anybody. Bottom of the lot tonight. They were a steady team improving each season under Rowett.
Until they scored today Birmingham were simply diabolical. If we could finish then we could’ve been about 3/4-0 up
Just irritating they scored from a Smithies error, and after that they were on top for about 15-20 minutes. The tempo then calmed down and we Sylla missed a great chance before Robinson caused total mayhem in the away end. Yet another fantastic atmosphere from the travelling fans and overall a really good day
Also the first time I’ve seen us win away since Reading back in January
Reality check, although it was a long awaited away win It was only Birmingham Our strikers still didn't score yesterday We wasn't exactly Brazil yesterday and brum could of still got a draw by the sound of it The next game is going to be interesting as we have a tough seasonal period and will prove if we have moved on and improved from our poor recent home form City will be well up for this one and had a good win yesterday too

Birmingham or Wolves doesn't really matter, 3 points are 3 points. Especially away from home.
I would say Washington missed a glorious chance - the type of position any striker would love to find themselves in - and he hit it wide. Our strikers remain the concern.
Birmingham are a lot like us but even worse. It would be typical Rangers to lose at home to a team that never wins away to goals from someone who never scores!
It's crazy really how Birmingham had an excellent manager in Gary rowett and let him go for some strange reason They were looking like a promotion chasing side, and then he goes and all of a sudden they are now looking like a league one side They had money to spend and wasted it on the wrong players once Harry went in,and then he got his usual pay off and from then they are a total mess Yes we are not much better and in some ways maybe as badly run as they are,but they had the team and manager to go forward with Feel a bit sorry for the brum fans as we know what it's like

Totally agree ranger-boy re missed chances! Having now seen the full 90 minutes I have to agree that QPR were all over them in the 1st Half (sound familiar?) but missed good chances or failed to control forward balls. You mention Sylla at fault but, for me, Washington was by a mile far worse. He could not control the ball and STILL gets offside too easily.
Many congratulations to Jack Robinson. Two well-taken goals! Meant I did rather well in the prediction stakes!
Re the '12 pubs of Christmas' in Lewes, I managed the Kings Head (full of Brighton supporters); Royal Oak (also Brighton supporters); John Harvey; Snowdrop; and Dorset. At that point my missus dragged be towards the station LurkR! Love Harvey's beer and the Old Ale was superb!!
