It’s important we stay only 3 points adrift from the mix and don’t become 6 points at any point from now on Next week a big ask to get anything at all from the Leicester game
We needed that win because there were also big wins for Millwall, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday
Phew! The atmosphere in the stands after their goal was grim, but the team started to play better after. Have to say Hayden did not have a good game. He should have come off lots earlier (I thought he was at fault for their goal?). We won though and cannot complain too much about other results - we must make our own destiny.
We seemed very slow and out of sorts at the start and I agree it wasn't until they scored that we upped our tempo. In that first 10 minutes Rotherham were much the better team and could have had a couple of goals. The lucky thing for us was that they seemed to want to defend their lead and that let us back into the game.
I thought Colback did well today and he unfortunately got booked that will see him miss the next 2 games.
If we stay in the Championship I'd be straight on the phone to Rotherham about buying their goalkeeper because I thought he kept them in the game at times.
Just back after 12 hours, which luckily included a couple of joyous hours in the middle which now need celebrating. Do agree stoatey about grabbing their goalie for nest season!

Looks like other teams are starting to moan and complain as to why we still played chair although he’s been sentenced to prison Will some appeal to the FA if we stay up that chair shouldn’t of been able to play since his sentencing It’s rediculous if any team wants to cash in on this situation in their desperation to stay up I was personally surprised he still played but pleased he did as he played a vital part in our victory
Chair has not completed his appeal process and still been sentenced to a period in prison. Therefore he is perfectly entitled to play. A more interesting scenario would be what happens at QPR after he has served a sentence. Will the club welcome him back as an offender? Other scenarios involving players have included crimes such as rape, fixing matches, drugs, etc., and I know many fans have felt it wrong to sign a player under those circumstances. However, once a player has served their sentence surely punishment has been meted out and it should be at an end? If Illias Chair is still under contract I would be happy to have him play again, but he had better be prepared for opposition 'fans' to make a meal of his conviction!
On another note.... These are from the Rotherham media (which I agree with apart from Hayden's '6' as he had an off day for once):
QPR (4-2-3-1): Asmir Begovic 6; Jimmy Dunne 6, Steve Cook 6, Jake Clarke-Salter 6, Kenneth Paal 6 (Ziyad Larkeche 84); Isaac Hayden 6 (Sam Field H-T), Jack Colbeck 6; Chris Willock 7, Joe Hodge 6 (Paul Smyth H-T, 7), Ilias Chair 9 (Lucas Anderson 90+2); Michael Frey 6 (Lyndon Dykes 84). Subs not used: Jordan Archer, Morgan Fox, Reggie Cannon, Sinclair Armstrong.
A typically impressive Viktor Johansson performance at MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium saw the Swedish stopper earn a third Man of the Match award in his last four outings. Johansson, once again, put in save after save to frustrate the Queens Park Rangers’ attacking force, but ultimately couldn’t rescue the side from another defeat on the road.
