Surrey I just feel that with the record we have against them at home and that they played midweek. We failed to capitalise. We only need win home game's to stay in division.
Only just seen the highlights. Yes it was a very poor decision to award the penalty but I can live with it because any other day they could’ve won it comfortably even without that penalty. Or maybe it was C5 highlights making them look better than they were?

Hopefully we can see the full 90 mins video on Christmas Day and judge for ourselves! (Out of interest, Lee Johnson reckoned they should have had 3-4 penalties awarded, stating that Onuoha was pulling a player's shirt so much he was virtually stripping him!)

I sat and watched the full 90 wearing my best pressie - the home shirt sponsored by Cargiant! It was (again) a question of QPR dominating the first half but a combination of better tactics by the opponents and reduced energy allowing our opponents to dominate in the second half. Putting the giant Flint up front to redeem himself after the own goal was a masterly stroke, but he should have received a second yellow card at least twice. A thug in a football strip... Anyway, back to proper football and a really good performance by QPR.
The wings were serviced well by Baptiste, Bidwell & Wszolek, getting in lots of crosses and shots on goal, but they also defender very well. The midfield trio did their usual sterling service and Onuoha & Robinson were solid at the back, supporting a superb Smithies. That only leaves me to comment on our strikers: Sylla & Osayi-Samuel. The former was his usual largely ineffective self, whilst the latter played well through the middle, using his pace to good effect. The pace did cause Bristol City problems but surely Oteh would have been the better alternative for that? Anyway, Sylla was replaced by Smith (largely to add extra weight in defence against Flint but also to add height up front); Osayi-Samuel was replaced by the ineffective Washington; and Freeman was replaced by Grant Hall, dropping back into the 5th defender role he did so well before.
Should we regard this draw as a victory snatched from us? Probably not as Bristol City did enough for a draw; but not via a penalty as dubious as they were awarded. OK the referee (and assistants at times too) seemed to have no idea what was going on and made very poor decisions (or none when they should have been made), but we have to hope that the considerable amount of bad luck we have accrued this season improves... MotM - Smithies?

Nice work kingfisher watching the match on Christmas Day!
Great summary thank you, creates a better picture for those of us who didn't see the game. I think 99/100 people would agree Bristol deserved a draw but the penalty was dubious and makes us feel cheated!
Which year cargiant shirt was it and where did somebody get that from for you?

Luckily I could use the excellent World Cup groups you created northwesthoop to check which year the shirt was and it is 2006/7 home shirt:
Never been worn by the looks so neglected or kept as an investment by someone. My missus found it in a charity shop of all places, but I am delighted with it!
