I told you bannan only plays well twice a season And that’s against QPR To still get something when they scored in injury time shows our fighting spirit though

Well what a finish. Second half much more even, still thought we looked disjointed most of the time, but great fighting spirit to steal the draw back as it must have hurt when Bannan put that in.
Nice moment for Lloyd and another good sign for the squads mentality.

Side note, it's a good job Lloyd put that in after the scramble because it looked to me like their defender blocked the initial effort on the line with his arm. So that would have been controversial.
Their goal was poor defending all round to allow Smith to isolate Santos who had no chance and then to leave Bannan floating around by himself was criminal.
Poor defending to leave Bannan all alone on the edge of the box and he finishes well.
1- 1 Alfie Lloydddddddd!,,,,,
Two very different goals. A technical one from Bannon, and Lloyd's was based more upon our stubborn attack beating their stubborn defence! Delighted for Lloyd and huge sigh of relief....
The team looked very unbalanced and Marti is struggling to get the midfield right. I've no idea what role Andersen was playing, he's not a winger and offered very little. IMO we should be playing Dembele through the middle with Smyth wide to give us a bit of pace down the right.

Sam Field was forced off at half-time following a collision, while Jake Clarke-Salter and Liam Morrison were absent from the squad altogether.
Cifuentes provided an update on the trio, saying: “Sam was feeling dizzy. He is a warrior and he tried his best to make it through to half-time, he needed to come off and rest up.
“Jake had a small feeling in his calf before our friendly at Brentford (during the international break) - that’s why he wasn’t involved there. But he’s progressing well and hopefully he’ll be back soon, along with Liam Morrison who didn’t go away with Scotland during the break because he felt something in his knee.
we need to get the balance right with the attacking 4, was all over the place yesterday. Madsen looked lost on the left, Anderson was poor and Dembele far from his best, it didn't get much better with the changes either. Chair will make a big difference to this team on the left
It’s almost like we have too many options now Unlike last season when Marti used the limited squad he had very well and got the best out of all the players in most positions
