We seem to have some promising young strikers coming through, Oteh & Smyth both score on their debuts and look a handful Washington scores a nice goal (and in my opinion has it in him to score at this level on a regular basis, Smith has put a few away this season and yet we seem to be lacking in the striker dept.
My question is, do we go to the market to try an find that person who is going to get us the goals or do we hold our nerve and give the youngsters and current strikers until the end of the season to prove their worth?

I'd sell Sylla if we get a good offer.
Aside from that I would keep playing the kids now until the summer, we are unlikely to go down so it gives us that opportunity and the January market is inflated.
See how they all get on, keep scouting any targets and review in the summer.
I would not enter the January market this season. We have no ambitions of the play offs. So save the dosh for summer window. But clear out those we seem not to need. Then at the end of the season decide where we are going as a club for next season.
Agree with Northwest and Pamment. We have 19 games this season to see how Oteh, Smith and Eze develop as well as forming a final view on Washington. The Summer is the time to make adjustments to the squad, especially with so many out of contract.
It will also allow the club to decide if OLLIE is the manager to take the club forward. At present we have not gone forward. And I have taken into account that we have had just one league defeat in 6 games against Millwall.

I was thinking the same thoughts myself, and came to what seems to be the universal conclusion: Keep promoting the Young Bloods whilst pushing the likes of Washington and Smith to work alongside them. I do think that Smyth & Smith is a great double act, and Washington & Oteh worked better than expected on Saturday; plus we still have to see the best of Eze! With regard to Sylla, I still feel he should go but happy to be proved wrong!
