We are safe. Not officially but there is no way we are going down. It's going to be about 45 points taking a team down this year. Teams below us are averaging far less than a point a game. Even allowing for an upturn in their form they will still struggle to get to high 40s in points.
We need about 6 to 10 points from 14 games. On the beach.
Another good 3 points against a team just below us. We should be safe but this is the R’s we are talking about so I’m not taking it for granted just yet!
Whilst I agree with NWH that we should be absolutely fine now, I’m a bit similar to Single that I won’t fully relax until it’s officially confirmed. Remember last season we seemed safe after beating Rotherham in mid March and didn’t end up winning again until the last home game to properly seal the deal.
We’re very close to getting there but let’s just push ourselves over the line!
