A strange decision not playing smith Can't see how we will hold the ball up going forward
I am guessing that Ollie is hoping he can rest Smith and save him for Monday's game, along with Luongo & Robbo; but I feel Washington just will not deliver the goals needed now to win.
I really can't work out what system that Ollie has got them playing today. It seems as though we have gone with a 4-5-1 or it could be 4-2-3-1 but it's alien to the guys out there. They are getting the run around and just can't handle Sone Aluko.
1 - 0 to Reading at half time but we got better the longer the half went by. Lynch did put the ball into the net but unfortunately he was ruled offside.
We need Smith on for Washington now, don't wait. I'd hook Cousins for Luongo too.
Just as I think that we have found a team and a formation that suits our players then Ollie can't help himself and has to start changing things. Let's hope he reverts to a 4-4-2 set up and makes some changes in personnel for the 2nd half.
