Some good points raised earlier by @singlespeed pamment8 northwesthoop & surrey chad re next season's squad. If we are to progress beyond being just a mid-table Championship side then we need two things: the majority of the current first-choice players to be here, and a decent striker. It may be that Eze and/or Smyth become that player, although I doubt that, but I would like to see David Wheeler become our version of Ollie Watkins at Brentford, coming in from the wing to score. Having Hall and Wheeler back will be a real bonus, but like Surrey Chad I too have reservations about Goss. Like Lynch, he tends to 'switch off' at times and get caught out as a result. I am certain there will be some heated 'discussions' over players wanted, monies made available, and players the club wants to sell....
