That was a really good result and a really good performance. When I saw the line-up I thought we'd be in trouble but the kids did us all proud, even after going behind. I make it 7 juniors in the starting line-up. It's gotta give us hope for the future.
Some great twists and turns for the last games of the season Our league is much more exciting than the premier Second automatic spot and the play offs and relegation places all still be sorted That's the only day I watch sky sports centre as you get all the drama as the goals go in
new kids on the block done well A taste of next season maybe A good result but it's hard doing week in week out if your a youngster, but it's promising knowing we have some young talent in the squad
The result may not be all that indicative of next season because Birmingham were easy to play on the floor against. More and more sides (including us) are using a passing game to move offensively up the pitch, and against a better side the inexperience that was evident yesterday would result in much harder games. The real positive is that we have a strong nucleus of young players with real skill, such as Chair & Eze (both of which moved positively forward with the ball); Furlong & Kakay (who showed a lot of maturity yesterday against some tough opponents); and Smyth & Osayi-Samuel (with the latter finally looking like the difficult winger/inside right we expected). The only small negatives I see is the lack of height in midfield and a need for an experienced CB to control the Back 3 or 4.

Totally agree @singlespeed and can only ponder why so many PL sides are reluctant to join us!
