Less impressive stats than Hemed, with 1 goal per 4 matches in the Championship in 2016 - but still better than Washington & Sylla. Again, another player with a point to prove so should be positive!

Wells has something we have been lacking for many a year... PACE
The type of pace that frightens defenders and can get in behind.
Wells should be the perfect partner for Hemed, one strong and lethal, one pacy and exploiting movement. I imagine that the club have done some good homework and there is a reason both have been targeted together.
I think our fastest recent players were Hoilett and Phillips but Hoilett rarely got into a position to use it and Phillips wasn't lightning quick.
I've always like wells He is very quick and will be a handful for any defence Unless we got hemed and him to be makeshift defenders no point getting good strikers if we can't defend
I knew we could rely on Amit to make things happen, he said he would make signings and he has. I don't want to be greedy but if he could now get us a couple of central defenders that would put the cherry on the cake!
Both strikers on paper are as good as any in this league But they may have to feed on scraps if our midfield don't pull their fingers out It's good news as hopefully goals will breed confidence throughout the team and give us something to hold on to I've liked the look of both guys playing on the box and they should do ok Wells likes scoring at loftus road, normally against us though, most defences will dread facing any of these two It will take a few games for them to settle then let's see I thought we'd only get one of them not both and considering our position how we persuaded them to come I'll never know
Negotiations have been ongoing for these player's for some time. To credit AMIT totally would be wrong. What he has done is injected money . Which was not available due to budgets we were sticking to. And as I understand more funds will be available as and when we can use them. So I think this season is all about survival.

Lee Hoos is being given a lot of praise from what I gather.
McClaren is no doubt hugely relieved that we got our first win (as we all are) but he got carried away and was praising everyone from the clubs owners to the club cat for the 2 loan signings. Lee Hoos is the guy pulling most of the strings at QPR so it's a smart move to give him most of the praise.
