If I had a pound for every time he said "patience" I could probably afford to buy the club myself!
We are on a more stable footing financially, we have to be patient, they want to stick to the current ethos of how we sign players and the style of football rather than changing our ideas every 6-12 months.
Tony F and Rueben are both very much still involved in the background.
Amit always comes across as a nice guy who I believe genuinely has QPRs best interests at heart and I understand that he has to be careful what he says because TF and RG are the main owners.
Whilst Amit is Chairman the bigger issue is that TF and RG still pull all the strings and are the problem we are now financially sterile.
When Amit talks about the progress and how we have become more financially stable over the last 16 months it's true but wasnt Amit part of the board in the 7 years previously that ran the club without any structure or control and without a transfer policy. Probably skipped his mind but it's the reason that the club now has to implement the extensive cost reduction he mentions.
At no time does he apologise to the fans for the way that the club has been mismanaged under TF, RG and his stewardship but he wants the fans to stay patient. It's just more smoke and mirrors where the owners of the club want to tell us how good they have been in the last 16 months but seem to have forgotten and unable to acknowledge how disastrously they ran the club in the 7 years prior.
