General 'Championship' Thread 2018 - 2021

I feel that the current Huddersfield squad seems to be happiest defending, rather than risk attacking and losing the ball. Now the transfer window is closed any manager wishing to fill that vacancy must consider how they will work with the squad's assets & liabilities. For me the best type of manager would be someone in the vein of Sam Allardyce....

Stoke losing at home to Huddersfield in the battle of the bottom 2 must be the final nail in the coffin for Nathan Jones.
I still don't think Stoke will go down, he just seems a very uninspiring manager playing odd tactics and formations given the players at his disposal. Having said that, they are definitely in the post relegation mess of having big earners who don't fight and a lot of square pegs in round holes.

looking at stoke and our current position,i dont take it for granted 
we deserve to be where we are but stoke shouldnt be only on 2 points after 10 games

That is probably a good decision by both parties. I wonder how that will impact upon big Mattie Smith? The appointment is probably going to provide a short-term 'filip' to their games anyway!
