I still think a draw was a bit flattering to Birmingham and we should and could of won this game This was a poor team by all accounts and we still didn't create that much even with our new boys on board Is it a case that it's going to take a while for the team to gel with the new strikers and defensive midfield man or are we still going to continue to fire blanks all the time Our defence seems to have improved after the West Brom massacre but I ain't seen many goals scored in the league We now have pace and power up front but they will need a creative spark and that player needs to step forward and give the service they need We still haven't a game changing player like Charlie and Adel taarabt were

The reports were right - Birmingham were not good! Yet we could not manage to convert playing superiority into goals. I have said elsewhere that I feel the main problem is the selection of Eze and Freeman together and the way they are played. I feel a better option against some sides would be Wszolek instead of one of them as he would generate more service to the strikers. What is needed is deliveries from the goal line diagonally back for the strikers or those following up to score from. In the game it was good to see Cousins playing so proactively and even Luongo, but playing balls high out of preference into midfield against a strong, tall defence like this was daft!
