So he will be as supportive of Ollie If we lose to bottom of the table Bolton and lose to wolves at home It's an ongoing project that we go down to league one if our form doesn't pick up soon then is it Tony We can't keep losing and drawing, end of story All this we have no money or the players etc A good manager like warnock would sort what players we have in an instant,so why can't Ollie I want the project and stability to work out,but not winning a few games on the bounce is worrying We are drifting towards the bottom 3 the way we are going All this we should of won etc by Ollie is not a good excuse in my opinion
I think the point is a dip in form will not get a knee jerk reaction. IF it all goes pete tong and we are in the bottom three come christmas time i would expect a change but right now i think ollie is doing a good job.

Yup, in managerial terms, this is still early days. I want to see Ollie smiling in front of his Christmas turkey - COYRs!
We are not winning games Tony,we won't all of a sudden come good Yes our boys try but it's not putting points on the league table, people walking out of your stadium before end of games like last week shows how much confidence we have in the team and some missed a rare moment of a comeback from our team It's not going to get better and Holloway isn't going to get us out of trouble,I honestly can't see it
Try to hold it together everyone. As fans we tend to veer between extremes but the truth is that we’re not as good as we thought we were after beating the top 2 and we’re not as bad as we feel right now. We’re just the lower half team we all knew we were at the start of the season and suffering from a lot of injuries. We are short of cash and still have FFP hanging over us so we will not be spending our way out of this. So all we can do is support the team and the manager and give them a chance to build in a sustainable way. It’s the slow way but there are signs of progress there.
Even before our slump in form and injuries We still haven't won an away game this season And 16 games in a row we haven't won away,we are a laughing stock Last time we got past the 3rd round draw in the FA cup I can't seem to think when we have Can't beat forest away and get hammered after two impressive wins against top two There is nothing special in this league, watching wolves the other night I wasn't that impressed and they are running away with the league I don't share the optimism of you guys we have all the problems to send us down,no money, injuries, poor signings some good but not in the positions we need Wheeler and the other 2 signings are all in place for league one football, sticks out like a sore thumb
The board are resigned to this as they know the massive fine we are due from FFP etc is going to kill us and look at teams like Blackpool and Portsmouth and Wigan Yes it can happen to us
Hi Single. I don't disagree with most of your points. My main frustration is that we could have been where Burnley or Watford are if we had been managed better. The damage was done largely during the Hughes and Redknapp eras and we're now paying the price. We can argue whether Olly is the right man for the job but any manager would struggle with the current situation and most of them wouldn't take the job. The current approach of reducing costs is the only option so we have to put up with our lack of a Charlie Austin and take gambles on cheap unproven players. As I said before, we are just a lower half team without the budget to buy our way out of it. Even if we wanted to spend the cash we'd only get into more FFP trouble. So we just have to hope for a little progress each year and for a few good players from the youth set-up or the lower leagues.
The funny thing is you are both correct. Can't argue with anything either of you have put and it shows the club is simply in an odd situation at the moment.
Yes we haven't won away, yes we've had the odd hammering, yes we are sliding down the table but how can a different manager change that? Holloway has gone down the route of trying to get a hard working team ethic. I don't know what a different manager would be able to do differently with the same crop of players. It's not like we are massively under-performing, the squad is limited. We are what we are right now, a lower half of the table team.
We are trying to play by the rules off the pitch and it means we may have a few rough years on the pitch.
yup FA Cup next! Fairly relentless for the squads at this time of the year and therefore injuries/suspensions often show clubs with only a veneer of quality. Tony Fernandes is right though, we have had a fair number of points..
Get the young players out for the cup game I reckon We've got some handy players to play against lower league opposition League has to be priority and staying up
