So for our last fixture before the international break QPR head to the City Ground which, as is well discussed, is a ground the hoops have never won at.
Our QPR Quiz this week therefore focuses on that City Ground curse that has lasted for 83 years dating back to 1934. A run that will hopefully be broken this time round!
5 Questions for you to ponder below...
1) See if you can get within one or two with this one to start.... How many matches have QPR failed to win on the City Ground in those 83 years?
2) The curse goes further in that we have only scored 1 goal in our last 6 visits from 2010 to date. Who scored that goal?
3) Who scored a bizarre goal for Nottingham Forest on our visit on Boxing Day 2013? Everybody else stopped play thinking it was offside, Rob Green made no attempt to make a save and the player in question slotted home with ease to the bemusement of QPR.
4) A 2 part question here:
In a 5-0 drubbing for QPR at the City Ground in January 2010 both a former QPR player and a current QPR player scored for Forest. Which 2 players netted for Forest on a miserable Tuesday night for the R's?
5) A real tough one to finish, which Italian winger scored both QPR goals when we came our closest to ending the curse in February 2009, putting the R's 2-1 ahead only for Forest to equalise?
