Another hard one to call Monks team play some nice football and mainly on the deck They have some very good attacking players too especially jota We will have to absorb the pressure then hit them on the break Hopefully we can get our season back on track
It will indeed be a hard one to win because they have been doing well. A lot will depend upon which QPR turns up! A few positives: we won on Tuesday in a good way and Luongo seems to be back to playing at his best!! Guessing time on the side:

A very common misconception; Monk's teams do have a reputation for playing nice football but that comes from his time at Swansea. Birmingham couldn't be further from the above statement.
At Birmingham he has had to work with what he has and they are not that attractive at all. I happen to know somebody linked to Birmingham so watch a fair bit of them and I have no doubt Monk would like to play expansive football but to get results he has made them hard to beat and he has gone back to the style Gary Rowett used to employ when he was in charge; Birmingham will not be afraid to knock it long, mostly into the channels for the wingers and Adams to chase.
They are bottom of the average possession table this season with just 42.4%. By comparison we are 20th out of 24 with 45.6%.
This is further highlighted by the fact Birmingham rank 1st in the league for 'Aerial Duels Won'.
Don't be fooled, they get physical and at the first opportunity get the ball into the opposition half. This is not a Gary Monk side people think.
With 1 win in their last 6 - the same as us - they aren't in the best form but did win last week.
I stand corrected I made the assumption that’s how his side played His Swansea side played some lovely football Another game that we can scrap for the 3 points All depends what team turns up as usual for us

Well that information should persuade Steve McClaren not to play Eze and go for Smith & Wells up front, plus Grant Hall instead of Scowen. We need to get those high balls down and work them forward via Luongo or Hall to BOS or Freeman or Wells. I will give Steve a call when i have a free moment!
It is a pretty good line-up. A lot will depend upon how Furlong contains crosses and incursions from the left, and how the partnership of Luongo & Scowen goes. COYRs!
