In addition we have got rid of our high earners plus we have released more players than we have signed so the wages can't be too much higher than last year.
Our FFP fine isn't measured against future years spending and at £17m plus £3m costs repayable over 10 hyears it shouldn't be too much of a burden.
When you see clubs like Brentford spending money on players and operating on smaller crowds I wonder whether FFP is just an excuse. There is no doubt that the excessive spending that TF previously sanctioned and which nearly put us out of business had to be curtailed but if we are now operating in profit then surely the picture is brighter than the club portray.
